Our work to date
To date, Mulberry has worked on a broad range of different commercial fit outs in Sydney. From the sleek, modern and highly functional interior of convenience shops, through to the urban-cool designs of clothing stores, we are able to apply our expansive skill set to a wide range of different projects.
Glue Store, Miranda
First opening in the late 90s, Glue Store has put a lot of time and energy into developing their brand in recent times – with great success. Influenced by youth culture and street wear trends, the company has certainly made a mark on the fashion landscape.
Our fit out of the Glue Store in Miranda reflected this; creating a pared-back yet trendy feel was of the utmost importance for this project. Forget run-of-the-mill modern interior trends; our project was about creating a space that attracted the skaters, surfers and all-round cool kids of the 21st century.
Glue Store was about recreating the brand’s uber-cool vibe – all while ensuring their products were effectively displayed.
Sportscraft, QVB
Foundered in 1914, Sportscraft is considered to be one of Australia’s most trusted fashion and lifestyle brands. As a company built on high quality, on-trend products, Sportscraft prides itself on a brand image that has been carefully developed over many decades.
With a brand image held firmly in place, Sportscraft had a very strong perception of the type of commercial fit out required. Our job as expert shopfitters was to bring this vision to life; we combined elements of functionality with the desire to maintain brand image, resulting in a retail fit out that met the exacting needs of this client.
Fast & Ezy Convenience, North Ryde
When it comes to convenience stores, it’s all in the name.
Our fit out for Fast & Ezy Convenience was less about brand awareness and more about creating a clean, modern design that made best use of the available space. A large part of this fit out involved ensuring there was ample room for all products, and the correct type of shelving in accordance with product types.
As you can see by the photos, we were able to create a space that effectively housed and displayed all products, whilst also leaving room for customers.
Jade & Belle, Darling Harbour
As a brand that positions itself at the height of women’s fashion, Jade & Belle is about delivering edgy, feminine style.
The store fit out needed to reflect this; it had to evoke the feeling of luxury whilst also maintaining a hint of cutting-edge, urban-cool vibe. We created a unique fit out – including bespoke cupboards and draws – ensuring the Jade & Belle brand was accurately represented.
Some more recent projects that we have worked on in the fit-out & shop fitting are:
- Stocklands Shopping Centre, Wetherill Park – Upgrade
- My House, Wetherill Park – New store opened in the centre and we installed joinery along with custom display racks
- Urbanista, Smeaton Grange (Petrol Station Fitout) – We carried out the external & internal recycled timber wall panelling along with internal joinery & fittings and fixtures
- Barafina Tapas, Sydney – We carried out a complete new look Make over to the place in 4days starting at 12am on a Friday and delivering the finished product on time for business on the Wednesday Morning.
- The Star Casino, Pyrmont – Level 6-12 Hotel Upgrade – Install of new joinery & remodelling of existing rooms
